The BNA at the Tayroots Genealogy Fair – Hospitalfield House, Arbroath, Friday 7 September 2012

‘Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again…’

As part of Angus Heritage Week, the BNA Team will be attending a family history event at Hospitalfield House in Arbroath. Since we love attending events in glamorous houses (e.g. Pemberley, Satis House, Manderley et al…) we’re very much looking forward to visiting the gothic paradise of Hospitalfield House.

Also attending the event will be ScotlandsPeople, Angus Archives, Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Archives, and the Tay Valley History Society. Guest speakers include family history experts, Dr Bruce Durie, Jack Blair, Marie Dougan and John Irvine.

The event is FREE to attend and anyone can turn up on the day, although booking is required if you wish to attend the workshops and talks. The events runs from 10am to 4pm.

So if you’re in the Dundee and Angus area on Friday 7 September, then it’d be grand to see you.

The full timetable for the event is listed below. To book a place at the workshops and talks, follow this link.
