  • BNA Pages Added – The Real Story:

    Dec = 175,000

    Jan = 125,000

    Feb = 200,000

    Mar = 135,000

    Apr = 300,000

    Total = 935,000

    Actual Capacity for 1 Year = 20,000 pages
    a day x 365 days = 7,300,000 pages

    Actual Capacity for 5 months = 3,020,000
    pages

    Actual Performance Achievement for Dec to
    Apr = 30.96% of capacity

    Target = 4,000,000 pages in 1 year
    (1,655,000 for 5 months)

    Actual Performance Achievement for Dec –
    Apr = 56.5% of target

    Total pages quoted 29-11-12 was 6,000,000

    Total pages quoted 21-06-13 was 6,913,016

    Total
    pages quoted 12-05-14 was 7,961,200

    That’s
    just a miserly 1,048,184 pages in the last 11 months!

    That
    is less than 95,300 pages a month and less than 5 days a month at 20,000 pages
    a day 🙁

    Why
    is the CUSHY target of 4,000,000 pages only 55% of the 7,300,000 pages actual capacity?

    Why
    has the BNA only achieved 56.5% of target ie a deficit of 720,000 pages
    (1,655,000-935,000) over the last 5 months.

    How
    on earth does the BNA expect to reach the promised 4,000,000 pages (333,333
    pages a month) target for 1 year???

    The
    current deficit of 720,000 pages for the last 5 months is equal to more than 2
    months of a 12-month subscription being lost and wasted on top of the 4 months
    that was wasted in 2013 when ZERO new pages were added.

    Why
    has the BNA failed to extend the subscriptions of paying customers by the 6
    months that have been lost and wasted due to the BNA’s failure to deliver?

    Why
    has there been no honest mention of this horrendous failure and what has happened
    to the results of the survey we completed in January?

    Why
    are there virtually no comments from paying customers on the blog?

    • Hi Gaz, the amount we add will fluctuate from month to month and year to year. Our target is to add 40 million pages over 10 years. We hope you enjoy exploring the new additions this month.

      • Excuse me, but who are you and why are you incapable of answering the questions asked? Just out of interest, are you deliberately extracting the urine or are you genuinely clueless? Your own stated target is 4 million pages this year and you have already wasted more than 2 months of our subscription by failing to deliver – on top of the 4 months you wasted in 2013. Why have you failed to extend our subscriptions by 6 months?

  • Stamford Mercury – 1746, 1829, 1914, 1915, 1917, 1918, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1938, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945

    Where are the Stamford Mercury issues past 1899?

    Friday 29 December 1899 is the most recent that is accessible

  • The Lancashire Evening Post link isn’t working and it doesn’t appear in the newspaper index. Can you rectify, please?
