Here is a wonderful description of a bicycle accident in 1895 between George Bernard Shaw and Bertrand Russell, while on a cycling trip with Sidney Webb to Tintern Abbey.
Their minds were taken up with loftier concerns and they ended up crashing into one another – happens to the best of us, that.

What a lovely descriptive piece of writing. I can visualise the whole scene perfectly.
We’re glad you liked it – it is beautifully written.
I have read somewhere (is it true, I don’t know) that in the US, in the beginning, when automobiles just started production, there were only two cars. And, they both dashed against each other and were involved in an accident! They were rare machines involved in the accident. This is accident of human type, indeed two rare humans!
