We’ve been kept very busy at The Archive in recent weeks setting up our project with Trinity Mirror to publish their archive. We’ve also been delving into the holdings of the British Library and added 108,830 pages to the collection. We are introducing six brand new titles to The Archive, and have added more years to a Trinity Mirror title, the Coventry Evening Telegraph, or the Midland Daily Telegraph as it was known between 1891 and 1941.
Our new titles are from Aberystwyth in Wales, the Isle of Wight, and the counties of Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Sussex and West Yorkshire.
You can learn more about each of the titles we have added to this week by clicking on their names below. On each paper’s title page you can learn more about our holdings and our plans for digitisation.

As I write, the last new content was uploaded 4 days ago, and no titles are listed in the Upcoming tab.
Hmm, yes, it’s been awfully quiet. Wonder if BNA might catch up on some missing years / additions to existing publications soon, rather than scanning dodgy, useless microfilms of obscure titles..
Are there any plans to publish the South Notts Echo
Any more dates going up for the Northamptonshire Evening Telegraph anytime soon.
Are any newspapers for the Southend on Sea area planned apart from the Chronicle. Does Mirror Trinity own any titles from tge area that may be published in the future?
Glad to see some progress has been made with Trinity. Have been hoping for further editions of Manchester Evening News for a year or two – 1919 – 1930, a big chunk of missing Mancunian history. What has recently been achieved for Liverpool is commendable. I have ancestry in both cities.
Can we have more issues of athletic news especially 1912
Would be nice to see some Merseyside newspapers; the Bootle Times and Crosby Herald.
