There are now 9.5 million historical newspaper pages available to explore at The British Newspaper Archive, with more than 200,000 having been added in December. Over 40 Irish titles are now available online

You can now explore more than 40 newspaper titles from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland at The British Newspaper Archive after another 17 Irish titles were added in November. The collection is growing all the time and currently spans 1748-1900. 17 extra Irish titles join The British Newspaper Archive 90,000 additional newspaper pages from titles including the Waterford Mail, Enniskillen Chronicle and Roscommon Messenger are now available online.
