Family and Local History Fair in Lancashire at Whitechapel Village Hall in Goosnargh, Near Preston – on 25, 26 and 27 August 2012

If you’re in the Preston area from Saturday the 25th to Monday the 27th  of August, then you might like to attend a family and local history fair that is taking place at the Whitechapel Village Hall in Goosnargh, by Preston.

The fair takes place over three days (25, 26 and 27 August) at the following times:

– Saturday 25 August:  10am to 7pm
– Sunday 26 August:  10am to 7pm
– Monday 27 August:  11am to 7pm

A number of local family history organisations will be attending the fair, and genealogy experts will be on hand to give free tips, advice and kind words to any family history newbies.

As the previous fair attracted over 500 visitors, the organisers are hoping to attract even more visitors this time round.

The admission price for the fair is £4, with tea, coffee, cake and heart-gladdening Lancashire accents provided for free. All the money raised at the fair will go towards fixing the church roof!

You can see the map location for this event by typing the postcode PR3 2EP into Google.
