Crime stories have filled newspapers since the seventeenth century.  From sensational murders to notices seeking the return of stolen property, you will find stories relating to crime in all of our newspapers. While crime-related news can be found in almost every title, we do hold several newspapers dedicated to crime and punishment. Hot off the press – new titles this week

This week we have added 121,443 pages to The Archive.  We now have over 25 MILLION pages in The Archive!  This week we have added four brand new titles, and added tens of thousands of pages to fourteen existing titles. Hot off the press – new titles this week

This week we have published 21,349 pages to The Archive.  We have published six brand new titles and added pages to four existing titles.   This week we have added brand new papers for the counties of Dorset, West Sussex and Cheshire in England, and an important political newspaper for Ireland. Hot off the press – new titles this week

This week we added 68,504 pages to The Archive. We have added four brand new titles, and added to six existing titles. Joining The Archive for the first time this week are papers for Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire in England. We have added over thirty years to the Leicester Daily Post, this papers joins seven others published in Leicester. Our earliest title for the city dates to 1813, and the latest to 1950.  News for Leicestershire can also be found in the Rutland Echo
