  • THE LINK ON NEW ADDITIONS FOR APRIL TO THE TODMORDEN DAILY NEWS DOES NOT WORK

  • The email says I may see three items in your new addition, John Bull, for free. I am currently a non subscribing member so that looked encouraging. However, I have logged in but everytime I click on the thing I want, it asks me to subscribe and takes me to a paywall, so that was nothing but a falsehood and I am very disappointed.

  • Hi Teresa, sorry for the confusion. The blog mentions that you can access a free sample of the newspaper by clicking the newspaper title. This link will bring you to the newspaper’s individual title page ( https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/titles/john-bull ). Every title page provides you with a sample of the newspaper found on the left-hand side of the page. You can click that image and it will allow you to view that entire sample issue.
