The Zeppelin Raid on England and the Heroism of Leefe Robinson – 3 September 1916

On 3 September 1916, 13 zeppelin airships attacked targets in south-east England. One of the airships was shot down near London by¬†Lieutenant Leefe Robinson, who was awarded the Victoria Cross for his bravery.
